In 2019, archaeological reconstruction work was completed alongside a team from Çatalhöyük, led by Nicola Lercari, Assistant Professor of World Heritage at Merced with the aim to contextualize the life cycle of a singular structure and its chronology throughout its existence. The resulting study was initially released as a digital archive and interactive web application using Unity. We are excited to announce that the work has now been published in Journal of Eastern Mediterranean Archaeology & Heritage Studies by Penn State University press and can found below (by clicking on the image).
