This reconstruction of a Saxon settlement was created to hypothesize what such an arrangement could have looked like in the Brighton landscape. Whilst not much is known about the exact placement and features, cross reference was made to known instances of Saxon building and general town building practices. The gallery itself features skeletons excavated in Brighton and a facial reconstruction of the individual known as Stafford Road Man and set behind this is he backdrop onto which this image is highlighted.
